Athens is to host the Mediterranean Resort & Hotel Real Estate Forum in October 2018, after the success of efforts by Enterprise Greece to bring the forum to Greece, with the support of the tourism ministry. It is the most important forum organised
in Europe that focuses on investments in tourist resorts in the Mediterranean. This year's forum, held in Taragona, Spain, attracted a big number of international investors, construction groups, hoteliers and international chains of professionals.
The forum is organized by Questex Hospitality Group and will be held in Athens, on October 17-19, 2018.
Enterprise Greece participated in this year's forum in Taragona with a strong presence through coordinating a round table dedicated to Greece. International investors and construction groups expressed interest in assessing the country's investment opportunities.
Part of the International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) series, the Mediterranean Resort & Hotel Real Estate Forum (MR&H) offers a meeting place for the industry to network, to share ideas and to build partnerships for tourism projects, mixed-use developments and hotel transactions.
A unique tourism and business destination, the Mediterranean is a major attraction for investors in search of new opportunities, but the diversity of market conditions across the region makes investment in real estate a challenging business. MR&H provides hospitality investors and key market stakeholders a complete overview of the region’s different investment climates, regulatory frameworks and development opportunities, as well as the chance to meet partners, to showcase projects and to do the deals that will help shape growth in the Mediterranean.
Whether you are an investor, developer, operator or advisor, MR&H is the perfect place for you to meet face-to-face with over 300 of your industry peers and form new partnerships that could transform your business. MR&H attracts an international audience of senior figures and decision-makers involved in all aspects of hospitality real estate and infrastructure investment in Southern Europe and the Mediterranean.
